Nestled in the heart of Duluth, Georgia, Atlanta Badminton Club (ABC) is home to 20 full-size, professional indoor badminton courts — the largest dedicated badminton facility in the Atlanta metro area. Whether you are picking up a racket for the very first time or stepping off a national-level competitive court, ABC has the space, the coaching, and the community to meet you where you are. Our Duluth location puts us at the center of Gwinnett County's vibrant South Asian and multi-cultural sports community, and our membership spans beginners, recreational players, competitive club athletes, and everything in between.
Every court at ABC is maintained to competition standards with appropriate ceiling clearance, professional-grade lighting measured to optimal LUX levels for shuttle tracking, and anti-slip flooring calibrated for agility and safety. The facility is fully climate-controlled year-round, so whether you're serving in July's Georgia heat or drilling footwork on a January evening, conditions on the court are always consistent. Our courts support all formats — singles, doubles, and mixed doubles — and are rotated regularly to ensure even wear and optimal playability.
Indoor badminton is a uniquely fast sport. At the elite level a shuttlecock can travel over 200 mph — faster than any other racket sport. But speed is built from fundamentals, and that is where ABC's coaching philosophy begins. Our BWF-certified head coaches have trained players who have gone on to compete at collegiate and regional tournament levels. For recreational players and social members, the emphasis is on footwork mechanics, rally consistency, and — most importantly — enjoying every minute on the court. Kids as young as 6 can get started with our junior coaching program, and we regularly see families where multiple generations play together. Atlanta Badminton Club has 20 professional indoor badminton courts in our Duluth, GA facility. Courts are available for open play, coaching sessions, court reservations, and competitive league matches — day or night.
Shuttlecocks are provided for all coaching sessions. Rackets are available to borrow for new members and guests trying the sport for the first time. Our pro shop also carries a curated selection of badminton rackets, grips, and bags.
Yes — every new member receives a complimentary 60-minute orientation session covering court rules, basic stroke mechanics, footwork fundamentals, and scoring. From there you can join weekly beginner group clinics or book private one-on-one sessions with our BWF-certified coaches.
After a brief skill assessment, our staff connects you with members at a similar level via our New Member Open Play events and our online member matching board. Coaches actively facilitate doubles partner pairing so you always have someone to play with.
Members can book courts up to 7 days ahead through our CourtReserve platform. Guests may book up to 24 hours in advance. Courts can also be reserved for private group sessions, corporate events, and birthday parties.
Atlanta Badminton Club is open daily 9 AM – 12 AM (midnight). All 20 courts are available throughout operating hours, subject to scheduled coaching and league blocks. Drop-in open play runs every day — no reservation required.
